How to apply

To be considered you must complete the following within the online application form:
  • Relevant category details
  • Association certification requirements
  • Applicant certification requirements
  • Press submit

Who can apply?

  • Ballarat Athlete or Coach
  • Applicant must be registered with a Ballarat Club or Association
  • An exception is granted for a Ballarat resident registered with a Metropolitan club where the level of training is not available in the Ballarat District. Likewise, for an athlete whose sport is not catered for in the Ballarat District (eg. Snow Skiing)

Applications can be made for pre and post events, training and travel support.

We do our best to support as many applications as possible, however an application form does not guarantee a scholarship will be granted. The Foundation will not always be able to approve all applications which meet the guidelines.

We recommend applicants are over 12 years of age, with consistent high level performances demonstrated over a period of time as well as evidence of a long term committment to their sport now and into the future.”
